Fear is a 4-Letter Word

mexicofan_0

Excellent article by Joe Pike on Travel Agent’s site at click here. All you gringos need to get a clue. Mexico’s tourism has been unjustly damaged by press coverage of H1N1 & the drug wars. Those in the know continue to vacation in Mexico because 1) they realize the tourist spots are safe if not safer than their own cities back home 2) no one spends their vacations in a border town unless they are looking for trouble 3) areas such as the Riviera Maya are one of the best bang for your buck destinations available.

Reusable Eco-friendly Plastic Moving Boxes

I’ve had to move quite a few times in my life and this seems like an excellent idea to me, especially the stackable aspect. I do like the cute frog mascot too. They’re only in Seattle and Vancouver for now.

Another plus about this company:
Frogbox donates 1% of gross revenues to frog habitat restoration. According to amphibian experts, frogs are the most threatened vertebrate group on Earth, with nearly one-third of the world’s 6,468 amphibian species in danger. At their current rate, frogs are disappearing faster than dinosaurs did.
